John German is a Managing Director and Head of Living Investments in the Investment Team at Invesco Real Estate (IRE). John is responsible for spearheading the firm’s existing European residential expertise and investments in Europe for global institutional investors and for assisting in the development of strategies within other living sectors across the European region.

Since his arrival at Invesco Real Estate, the firm has concluded several European residential and student transactions in the UK, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, France, Ireland, Denmark, Italy and the Czech Republic amounting to a total of over €4bn. The current portfolio amounts to €3bn with 42 investments in nine countries across Europe. This is building on IRE’s existing expertise in the multi-family sector in the US and Asia where IRE has over 30 years experience. John began his investment career in 1987 and joined Invesco Real Estate in 2013. Prior to joining Invesco, he spent 12 years at Grosvenor, where he was the head of residential strategy and was previously at Aberdeen Property Investors as director residential fund management. He also serves as a Member of the Board of the prestigious Złota 44 Residential Community in Warsaw, where he is actively involved in governance, operational oversight, technology implementation, and strategic decision-making for one of Europe's most iconic residential skyscrapers.

Serhii Makhnovskyi is a Platform Engineer with over 10 years of experience spanning hospitality technology, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering. His career combines extensive experience in developing software and smart technology solutions for the hospitality industry with leading cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering initiatives in enterprise environments. Stephanie’s diverse experience has been honed within renowned AJ100 and award-winning practices. Her expertise encompasses both planning and project delivery, where she has achieved notable successes in a range of architectural disciplines. She has a distinct passion for riverside architecture, with a commitment to sustainable, high-quality. Driven to design visually captivating developments realising conceptual mastery with quality detailing.

She is an active member of AECB and has a keen interest in Passivehaus design, often incorporating these principles into her projects. Her current focus is on retrofitting and reconfiguration of existing buildings to enhance sustainability and reduce embodied carbon in the construction industry.

Alongside her day-to-day practicing of both architecture and interiors, she actively participates in other creative communities such as fashion, art, photography, is a member of the V&A and has a keen interest in upcycling furniture as well as DIY.

She has a passion for landscaping and over the course of her career taking a keen interest in the improvement of wellness from the design of green spaces.
