I lead Net Zero Carbon and ESG strategy and implementation at the intersection of real estate investment, engineering and policy — most recently as Energy & Net Zero Carbon Lead within an investment management organisation, where I led the development and delivery of an ambitious energy and carbon programme to decarbonise assets and portfolios across a c.£30bn AUM real estate platform. Over 15+ years I've worked across the full value chain: from technical delivery through portfolio-level advisory to embedding ESG directly into capital allocation and asset management decisions at investment manager level. Previously, I held Energy & Sustainability director and equivalent leadership roles at a number of advisory and building services organisations, where I led their UK sustainability consulting teams and worked on environmentally sustainable design for high-profile projects in the UK and abroad. I sit on the CRREM Foundation board, ULI's NEXT UK Executive Committee, ULI's EU and UK Sustainability product councils and contribute to IIGCC, BBP, GRESB and WBCSD — work that keeps me close to where real estate investment policy and practice are heading next, and gives me a strong network across the investor, advisory and NGO community.
